About the Journal

The Journal of Environmental Sciences and Built Environment Research (JESBER) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Calabar, Nigeria. The journal publishes interdisciplinary research that advances environmental knowledge, sustainable development, spatial planning, infrastructure systems, and built environment innovation at local, regional, and global scales.

JESBER is built on rigorous scholarly standards that is dedicated to advancing high-quality research that contributes to scientific knowledge, policy development, and sustainable solutions in environmental sciences and the built environment. Publication Model:

JESBER operates a continuous publication model with periodic issue compilation to ensure timely dissemination of research. Accepted articles are published online immediately upon final acceptance and subsequently compiled into periodic issues according to the journal’s publication schedule.

Indexing Status:

The journal is currently indexed on Google Scholar and undergoing evaluation for indexing in other reputable databases like, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Scopus, and Web of Science.
